Safety Supervisor

Job Description:

• Prepare Safety and Occupational Health plan and program for the whole company
• Accountable to supervise the implementation of Safety, Occupational Health & risk control program
• Perform inspection regularly at operational area including contractor in order to make safe operation
• Perform accident investigation, find root cause and provide recommendations in order to avoid similar accidents happened
• Support KTT in providing reports and plan as required by MEMR
• Accompany Mines Inspector in conducting accident investigation
• Provide material for crew safety talks
• Maintain Safety record and provide report regularly
• Develop, implement and monitor Safety & Occupational Health strategies and policies.

Requirement:

• Bachelor degree from Mining Engineering, Geological, Civil Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety/ Public Health, Mechanical Engineering.
• Any competency or attended safety course or involve in safety is an advantage
• Minimum 3 years’ experience at the similar position preferably from coal mining industries.
• Have good analytical skills for control and problem-solving, excellent consulting  and negotiation skills, honest, able to work under pressure, both works independently and as a team
• Familiar with the rules, regulations and standard of Government Safety & Occupational Health
